About us

Welcome to the Attention Memory and Perception (AMP) Lab at the University of Tennessee – Knoxville.

In the AMP lab, we’re interested in understanding how the brain supports detailed visual memories and how those memories impact future learning. Memory formation involves many cognitive processes and neural mechanisms, so we also study how attention and perception interact with memory using psychophysics, eye tracking, and electroencephalography (EEG).
